The Club
The Finnish-American Club is the oldest Finnish-American society in Finland. The club was founded in 1932 and it is domiciled in Helsinki. The purpose of the club is to widen and develop relations between the United States and Finland both in economic and in cultural fields. What we do
The club is a non-political, non-state organization, which does not seek to influence political affairs. One of its purposes is also to draw together people in Finland who are interested in the USA, and on the other hand to draw together Americans who are interested in Finland. In order to reach this aim the club tries to get Americans to give lectures in Finland as well as Finns to give lectures to Americans who are visiting Finland or staying here for any length of time. These activities as well as numerous meetings aim at widening information about Finnish industry and culture.
