Mission

To continue the legacy of social, commercial, and cultural exchange between Finland and America.

History

February, 1932: Founded over lunch at Hotel Kämp in Helsinki

May, 1933: First major event was a luxurious ball held at Hotel Torni

After World War II: An annual Thanksgiving luncheon was introduced

1948: The first crayfish party was organized

Since then: We've hosted ambassadors, congressmen, generals, business leaders, and John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth.

Many of Finland's most prominent businessmen have been active in the club, including past chairs Heikki Herlin, Harry Berner, and Kalle Anttila.
